Jolie L. Chang, MD, FACS is an Associate Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco where she is Chief of Sleep Surgery and General Otolaryngology.
Dr. Chang specializes in sleep apnea surgery and minimally invasive approaches for salivary gland surgery including sialendoscopy. Dr. Chang provides comprehensive and individualized evaluations for patients considering surgery for sleep apnea and specializes in drug-induced sleep endoscopy, soft palate surgery, tongue base surgery, snoring surgery, and hypoglossal nerve stimulation implant surgery. She also has clinical expertise in ultrasonography for head and neck disorders.
She is an associate editor for the sleep section of the Laryngoscope journal. She is dedicated to medical education and mentors students and trainees in research as the Director of Resident Research for the Department of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery.
