Sunder Gidumal is a current PGY4 in Mount Sinai’s Department of Otolaryngology, where he also attended medical school. As an MS3, Sunder was one of two medical students selected nationally for the two-year MD Scholar Fellowship at BCG. As an otolaryngology resident, he has used this experience in Healthcare Strategy & Operations to improve efficiencies and outcomes in a hospital setting. His research efforts have focused on work within Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, Neurotology, and Quality Improvement.. At AAO 2023, he is speaking about injection schedule changes to improve outcomes following sudden sensorineural hearing loss. This upcoming February, he will apply for a fellowship position in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
