Evan M. Graboyes, M.D, MPH is an Associate Professor in the Departments of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery and Public Health Sciences at the Medical University of South Carolina where he is the Director of Survivorship and Cancer Outcomes Research (SCOR) at the Hollings Cancer Center. His clinical practice focuses on the reconstruction of complex defects of the head and neck. Dr. Graboyes' program of research focuses on the development and implementation of multilevel interventions to improve the quality, timeliness, and equity of cancer care along the continuum. His research, funded through grants from the National Cancer Institute, American Cancer Society, and multiple foundations, relies on a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team approach. He has authored over 120 peer-reviewed publications related to cancer care delivery and cancer survivorship. In addition to his clinical practice and research, Dr. Graboyes serves as Vice-Chair of the American Head and Neck Society Value & Quality of Care Service, as co-chair of the NRG Oncology Healthcare Disparities Committee Research Concept Development Group, on the ASCO Health Equity and Outcomes Committee, as faculty for the NCI Multilevel Training Institute, and on the editorial board of JAMA-Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery.
