I am a critical care nurse with 35 years’ experience caring for the neonatal/ pediatric population with multiple comorbidities and chronic diagnoses. I am a graduate of Texas Christian (TCU) Master of Science in Nursing program with a focus as a Pediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist. I currently attend William Carey University completing my Ph.D. in Nursing administration and education with anticipated graduation, August 2024.
I am currently the Clinical Nurse Specialist for the Children’s Health Airway Management Program, under the Department of Otolaryngology at Children’s Medical Center. My goal is to contribute to the success of the organization by improving outcomes for complex pediatric airway patients with a tracheostomy and/or a home ventilator using the Clinical Nurse Specialist’s spheres of influence: patients and families, nursing practice, and system.
