Dr. Taha Jan is an Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery and a board-certified neurotologis at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He attended Vanderbilt University where he graduated summa cum laude with a BA in Molecular and Cellular Biology. He received his medical degree from Stanford University in 2012. Dr. Jan then went onto his internship in General Surgery at the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) followed by residency at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary / Harvard Program in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. He then completed fellowship in Otology, Neurotology, and Skull Base Surgery at Stanford University. He came to VUMC from the University of California, San Francisco where he was an Assistant Professor. Dr. Jan is also a surgeon-scientist with a research interest in regenerative biology of the inner ear with the ultimate goal of translating discoveries in the laboratory to therapies in the clinic and operating room.
