Hassan H. Ramadan MD, MSc, FACS, Professor and Chairman, is currently one of the rhinology/allergy specialists at the department which includes 18 faculty members of all sub-specialties. Dr. Ramadan specialty is Rhinology with a focus on pediatric sinusitis. The department provides all specialty services to citizens of West Virginia and surrounding states.
He is board certified in Otolaryngology and has been a member of the AAO for over 33 years. He is winner of the honor award as well as the distinguished service award from the American Academy of otolaryngology for his contributions over the last 33 years. He is a memeber of numerous other societies including the triologic society which he served as the VP for the southeren section.
His research interests are in rhinology and in particular Pediatric rhinosinusitis. He has over 125 publications and book chapters in refereed journals. He has also been a speaker at national as well as international conferences & meetings.
