J. Randall Jordan, M.D., F.A.C.S
Bio
Dr. Jordan is Professor, Medical Director, and Vice Chairman of the Department of Otolaryngology and Communicative Sciences at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
He completed medical school and his otolaryngology residency at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, FL. He then completed his facial plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at the prestigous McCollough Aesthetic Medical Center in Birmingham, AL. Dr. Jordan has also completed a preceptorship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology at the University of Florida in Gainesville.
Dr. Jordan is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He specializes in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery and cutaneous oncology of the head and neck.
Dr. Jordan’s research interests include wound healing, non-invasive facial rejuvenation and facial trauma.
Dr. Jordan is active in many major specialty societies, such as the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Society of University Otolaryngologists and is a founding member and former president of the Mississippi Society of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery.
Dr. Jordan is very involved in resident teaching. He has been named Faculty Teacher of the Year two out of the last three years by residents and medical students.
