Professor of Otology, Neurotology & skull base surgery

Dr Issam Saliba is a Professor in the department of surgery and chief department of otolaryngology head and neck surgery at the Montreal University Hospital center. He is director of research at the otorhinolaryngology division and Director of otology, Neurotology and skull base surgery Fellowship at the University of Montreal.
Dr Saliba has finished his otorhinolaryngology training at the University of Montreal in 2001. His major interests for pathologies of the ears, dizziness and skull base tumors have led him to complete two years of fellowship in Montreal and at Paul Sabatier University - Toulouse in France to eventually join the ENT department of the Montreal University Hospital Center in 2003.
In addition to his clinical work, his interest in research is crucial, which has led him to develop two new surgical techniques: one for tympanic membrane perforations (Hyaluronic Acid Fat Graft Myringoplasty – HAFGM ) and another for the treatment of refractory Meniere's disease: the Endolymphatic Duct Blockage. His CV includes more than 120 peer review publications and more than 10 book chapters.
