Caio Athayde Neves MD, PhD, is a dedicated Otolaryngologist actively practicing in Brazil and also serving as an affiliate researcher at the Otology Division within the Department of Otolaryngology at Stanford University School of Medicine.
He holds a PhD in Medical Sciences from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Brasília, Dr. Neves has focused his research on the innovative application of deep learning algorithms in the realm of preoperative assessment for otologic surgeries. His publications encompass cutting-edge automated methodos for temporal bone anatomic segmentation, cochlear duct measurement for cochlear implantation, and the automated analysis of vestibular schwannomas through MRI.
Dr. Neves is board-certified as an Otolaryngology Surgeon by the Brazilian Association of Otolaryngology and Cervico-Facial Surgery, as well as the Brazilian Medical Association since 2010. In his clinical practice, Dr. Neves demonstrates expertise in the clinical and surgical management of a wide array of conditions, including inflammatory and tumoral diseases of the sinus, as well as disorders of the ear and larynx.
