Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology
Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center
As an Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, my training has incorporated stops across the country. I completed my rhinology and skull base fellowship training at Stanford University and my Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery residency at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Throughout my training I have been recognized for exhibiting “exceptional warmth, compassion, and service to patients,” and have been the recipient of numerous honors and awards. Being a rhinologist is rewarding from a collaborative standpoint, where I regularly work alongside colleagues in Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology, Plastic Surgery, Allergy, and Pulmonology. I currently serve on a number of professional committees, provide insight as an expert panelist at national and international conferences, and have received institutional and national grant funding as a clinical investigator, where the current focus of our research team is on unravelling the complexities that contribute to the development and subsequent loss of our ability to interact with the world through our sense of smell.
