Marika Russell, MD FACS is head and neck thyroid and parathyroid surgeon. Dr. Russell obtained her medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and completed her training in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Dr. Russell rose to the rank of Associate Professor at UCSF, where she maintained a practice dedicated to thyroid/parathyroid surgery and developed expertise in the management of advanced thyroid cancers. Dr. Russell has special expertise in applying ultrasound to the diagnosis and management of diseases of the thyroid and head and neck and is a national leader in ultrasound education. Dr. Russell is currently undertaking a year-long clinical fellowship with Dr. Gregory Randolph at Harvard University/Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary.
