Medical Student
University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine
Morgan Brown is a fourth-year medical student at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. Ms. Brown is originally from Connecticut and received a Bachelor of Science in Public Health degree from Tulane University. Morgan is passionate about health equity and has made this an integral part of her medical school education. She is a recognized AHEC Care for the Underserved Pathway Scholar and was selected into the Sigma Sigma Phi: Honorary Osteopathic Service Fraternity. She is eager to continue advocacy and learning throughout her residency training and career as a hopeful otolaryngologist. The poster Ms. Brown is presenting aims to highlight a clinical case of osseous metaplasia occurring in the sinonasal mucosa. As this is a uncommon condition, her work seeks to add to the limited existing literature and calls attention to the need for further investigation of its underlying etiology and pathophysiology.
