Kara D. Meister MD, FAAP, FACS is a Pediatric Otolaryngologist and Clinical Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology--Head & Neck Surgery at Stanford University. She is a member of the Aerodigestive & Airway Reconstruction team, and she is the surgical director of the Children's Thyroid Clinic. Dr. Meister is an institutional leader in patient experience and patient engagement at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital and the Associate Clinical Chief for the Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology. She completed a fellowship in Biodesign from Stanford University. She also serves of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee and the Thyroid Disease in Pregnancy Writing Group of the American Thyroid Association, and the Pediatric Endocrine Surgery subcommittee of the American Head & Neck Society. Dr. Meister is the chair-elect of the AAO-HNS Pediatric Otolaryngology Education Committee.
