Katelyn Berg, AuD, CCC-A, is an audiologist and researcher in the Department of Hearing and Speech Sciences at the Vanderbilt Bill Wilkerson Center in Nashville, TN. Dr. Berg obtained her B.A. in Music and Psychology from St. Olaf College before completing her Au.D. from Vanderbilt University. Currently, she is completing her Ph.D. in Hearing and Speech Sciences under the mentorship of Dr. Renè Gifford. While completing her Ph.D. studies, Dr. Berg is working as a clinical audiologist at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she specializes in treating musician patients. Dr. Berg's research works to improve CI outcomes, focusing on music perception and CT image-based programming strategies. Her work quantifies channel interaction and its effects on speech, music perception, and sound quality. Dr. Berg holds an NIDCD F32 grant to support her dissertation focused on improving pitch perception in CI users.
