Alejandro Garcia is a resident in Otolaryngology at University of Iowa. His work focuses on improving hearing outcomes in cochlear implant (CI) and auditory brainstem implant (ABI) users, and enhancing lateral skull base surgeriy outcomes in patients with superior canal dehiscence or vestibular schwannomas. He also studies auditory outcomes of patients with CIs and ABIs including children and adults with single sided deafness, cochlear malformations or neurofibromatosis type 2.
