Armin Steffen is Assistant Professor and Chair of the sleep lab of Otolaryngology: Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Luebeck, Germany. He graduated from Medical school in Luebeck. As attending, he established an academic and clinical neurostimulation sleep programme since 2012. He authored about fourty research papers on hypoglossal nerve stimulation and is regularly invited as lecturer nationally and internationally, on areas of expertise in sleep Surgery, ear reconstruction in microtia, and hypersalivation treatment. He contributed to several sleep-related guidelines of the German ENT and sleep society and initiated the recently published the interdisciplinary guideline about hypoglossal nerve stimulation (EAORL).
