Hayden Carl Hairston, M.D. is a PGY1 resident in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
He has previously published research in topics ranging from antibody formation following massive transfusion to using imaging predict vascular anatomy of scapular free flaps. His current educational interests include increasing his knowledge of all aspects of otolaryngology, facial reconstruction using free flaps, and medical student education.
He is a graduate of the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville where he received his Bachelors in Science in Biochemistry and of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences where he received his MD with honors in research and finance. He has previously completed a Transitional Year Internship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. His hobbies outside of work include pickleball, golf, following live bands throughout the region, and weekly trivia at local bars.
