Amit Walia, MD is a T32 otolaryngology resident physician at Washington University in St. Louis. His research interests include electrocochleography in cochlear implantation, improving hearing outcomes in cochlear implant surgery, and understanding quality of life related to cochlear implants. He recently received the CORE Resident Grant to study Alzheimer's disease proteins (tau and amyloid) in perilymph of the inner ear.
