Dr. Garetz is a clinical associate professor in the departments of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery and Neurology/Sleep Disorders Center at the University of Michigan health system. She is holds joint board certification in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery and Sleep Medicine. Her main academic and clinical interest for over 15 years has been the diagnosis and treatment of sleep-disordered breathing in children, with an emphasis on ways to more accurately identify sleep disordered breathing associated with neuro-cognitive morbidity in the pediatric population.
