Dr. Tiffany Hwa is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Division of Otology & Neurotology at the University of Pennsylvania Health System in Philadelphia, PA. She completed her medical degree at Weill Cornell Medical College, followed by residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital of Columbia & Cornell, and fellowship in Otology/Neurotology at the University of Pennsylvania. Her research interests include health disparities in the Limited English Proficiency population, music experience after cochlear implantation, genetics of hearing loss, as well as systematic review and meta-analysis in otolaryngology. Dr. Hwa has authored numerous original scientific publications and textbook chapters, and she has presented her work in regional, national, and international forums. She was a 2020 recipient of the Nicholas Torok Award from the American Neurotologixal Society, and a 2022 Cochrane Scholarship Recipient from Otology & Neurotology.
