Simon I Angeli, MD is a Professor of Clinical Otolaryngology and Neurological Surgery of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, Director of the University of Miami Ear Institute, and Director of the ACGME-accredited Neurotology Fellowship Program. He holds two Board Certifications in Otolaryngology and Neurotology. He has been in practice for over 20 years and has a long-standing interest in clinical diagnosis and treatment of pediatrics and adult hearing loss, ear infections, facial nerve disorders, skull base tumor surgery, and labyrinthine balance disorders. He has contributed to the scientific literature with studies of middle ear wound healing using biomaterials and stem-cells, translational studies of hereditary hearing loss, and in clinical studies of tympanoplasty, middle ear reconstruction, vestibular disorders, facial nerve disordes, acoustic neuroma, and cochlear implantation.
