Dr. Friedman is a Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology and Pediatrics at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. He is the Surgical Sleep Prgram Director at Children's Hospital Colorado. He is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and the American Board of Sleep Medicine (AASM).
Since 2000, he has been a faculty member at the University of Colorado and the Medical Director of the Pediatric Sleep Lab at Children’s Hospital Colorado. He has served on multiple committees for the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, ASPO and AASM. He has been an author for over 50 manuscripts including clinical practice guidelines covering polysomnography in children, home sleep apnea testing, tonsillectomy, and drug induced sleep endoscopy.
Dr. Friedman graduated from the Plan II Liberal Arts program at The University of Texas and obtained his medical degree from the University of Texas-Southwestern. After finishing his general otolaryngology training at the University of Texas-Southwestern, he completed a pediatric otolaryngology fellowship at LeBonheur Children's Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital in London, England.
