Tuleen Sawaf, MD is a PGY1 resident at the University of Maryland Medical Center Department of Otorhinolaryngology. She completed her undergraduate degree in Neurobiology at Georgetown University. She went on to work in healthcare grants consulting in Washington DC prior to attending Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Prior to residency, she completed a research fellowship at the University of Kansas Medical Center Department of Otolaryngology. Her research interests in Otolaryngology include pediatric cochlear implantation and equitable healthcare delivery in head and neck cancer. In addition, she is dedicated to mentorship and medical education.
