Kristi Gidley PA-C, MSHA joined the Department of Otolaryngology at UAB in 2010 and has served as the Executive Administrator for the department since 2015. Kristi received her undergraduate degree from Emory University and graduated from the UAB Surgical Physician Assistant Program in 1999. She received her master's degree in Health Administration from the UAB School of Health Related Professions in August 2017. She has over 24 years of experience as a surgical physician assistant (PA). Her clinical practice is in Head and Neck Oncology.
Kristi is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Foundation (AAO-HNSF), Society of Physician Assistants in Otolaryngology (SPAO) and the APP Section of the Alabama Society of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. She is Past-President of SPAO and served as the Medical Liaison between AAPA and AAO-HNSF from 2016 to 2020. She is active within her organization serving on numerous committees within the UAB Health System and School of Medicine.
