Dr. Tobey received her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Following a residency in Otolaryngology and an NIH funded T32 research fellowship within the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Otolaryngology Department, she pursued a career as general otolaryngology in Northern Virginia. After several years in practice, she returned to the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in 2015 for a Pediatric Otolaryngology Fellowship and then joined the Pediatric Otolaryngology Department at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr Tobey directs the Aerodigestive Center and the Tracheostomy Caregiver Education Program at the UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Her interests include complex pediatric airway and swallowing disorders, pediatric neck masses and resident and caregiver education.
