Chris is a PGY5 resident at the University of Toronto and incoming head and neck microvascular surgery fellow at the Ohio State Univeristy. He received his MD from the University of Toronto. He extended his residency in order to complete a PhD in Clinical Epidemiology and Health Care Research. His doctoral work centered on enhancing Cancer Care Ontario’s standardized symptom assessment care pathways for patients with head and neck cancer. He has an established research track record with over 70 peer reviewed publications and more than $1.5 million in scholarships and grant funding. His work has been published in several leading medical journals including the Journal of Clinical Oncology, JAMA Oncology, and JNCCN and Cancer.
