Dr. Joseph M. Curry focuses on the treatment of head and neck cancer and microvascular reconstruction of head and neck defects. He has a clinical interest in reconstruction of midface defects and a research interest in tumor metabolism in head and neck cancer. Dr. Curry completed his medical school training at Georgetown University in 2004 and his residency in Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University in 2009. He completed a fellowship in Head & Neck Surgery and Microvascular Reconstruction at the University of Miami in 2010. He has been on faculty in the Department of Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University since 2010. Currently, he serves as Division Chief and Vice Chair for Research for the department. Additionally, he serves as Vice Chair of the Clinical Research and Population Health Committee for the American Head & Neck Society.
