Napiera Shareef is a fourth-year medical student at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. She is originally from Newark, Delaware, and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Maryland – College Park. Her numerous leadership and community service activities reflect her passion for addressing healthcare disparities and strengthening the pipeline of racially and ethnically underrepresented trainees pursuing medical education. She is also committed to military service and is currently a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Air Force under the Health Professions Scholarship Program. Through her unique perspectives and dedication to research, leadership, and community service, Napiera strives to forge a meaningful impact on the field of Otolaryngology.
