Sara Friedman is a second year MD candidate at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Prior to enrolling in medical school, Sara worked as a research assistant in an Allergy and Immunology lab at The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai under Dr. Maria LaFaille investigating distinct B cell populations in children and adults with peanut allergies. Sara also spent two years working in a genetics lab as an undergraduate. In her spare time, Sara is a Broadway aficionado and spent nearly 15 years singing, performing, and assisting in the direction of children’s musical theater productions. Sara graduated from Barnard College with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology in 2021.
