Dianela Perdomo, BS, Medical Student, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine
Dianela is a 3rd year medical student at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She completed her studies in biology and philosophy at the University of Florida, and maintains an interest in the synchrony of surgery and the humanities. Dianela has worked on several projects exploring the evolution of historical therapies for pathologies like Meniere's and is actively engaged in the histoanalysis of temporal bone specimens of sickle cell disease. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, reading, and interior design.
