Alyssa Y. Li is a fourth-year medical student at the University of Toronto Temerty Faculty of Medicine. She received her BA in Biochemistry at Wellesley College, where she completed her seniors honors thesis in the Bear Lab at MIT. She has received research support from the Mach-Gaensslen Foundation of Canada and the Keenan Research Centre in the past for work in clinical research, including a publication in the Lancet Oncology. As she completes her final year of medical school, she is excited to continue contributing to knowledge in paediatrics otolaryngology and skull based surgery, and pursue a career in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
