Chanticha Laohakittikul, MD, is an otolaryngologist at the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University (KKU) in Thailand, and a visiting scholar at the UCSF Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. She graduated as a medical doctor from Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, and completed her otolaryngology training at Khon Kaen University. Driven by a keen interest in voice and swallowing disorders since her graduation, she obtained a scholarship to visit and gain experience in this field at the UCSF Voice and Swallowing Center for one year, where she conducted research in laryngology and voice and swallowing disorders. Her clinical practice encompasses various aspects of laryngology, including surgery for vocal fold lesions, treatment of airway stenosis, and gender-affirming voice care.
