Sahar Assi received her MD from the American University of Beirut in Lebanon in 2022 and joined the Johns Hopkins Cochlear Center for Hearing and Public Health for a two-year post-doctoral research fellowship prior to pursuing residency training in otolaryngology in the U.S. Her research works focuses on understanding the effect of hearing loss and hearing interventions on healthcare outcomes including satisfaction with healthcare, physical function, and frailty.
