Thomas Houston Fitzpatrick IV, MD, is a fourth-year resident physician in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. Originally from Columbia, SC, Thomas studied Chemistry and Spanish at Duke University and graduated with high honors in 2015. He worked in Lund, Sweden for one year before attending medical school at Wake Forest. He met his wife in Winston-Salem, and they were married in 2019- both graduating (virtually) with graduate degrees in 2020. They love living in Richmond, particularly exploring their neighborhood and biking the Capital Trail. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, skiing, traveling, and playing or watching sports (especially Duke Basketball). His primary clinical interests include sleep surgery and sinus disease.
