Angel Desai is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of California Davis. Her research focuses on disease surveillance, global emerging diseases and outbreaks, and the intersection between migration and health. She is also an associate editor at JAMA Network Open, a Stephen M. Kellen Term Member at the Council on Foreign Relations, and was awarded a National Minority Quality Forum 40 under 40 Leader in Minority Health Award in 2020 for her work on health disparities among forcibly displaced populations.
