Baylee Polzin is a third year medical student at the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Louisville, Kentucky. She graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and minor in Psychology. Baylee serves as the Class of 2025 Social Chair, Co-Executive Director for Future Healers, and Clinical Clerkship Liaison. Throughout her first years as a medical student, she held a variety of leadership positions in student interest groups, including Otolaryngology and the Association of Women Surgeons. Baylee has assisted in cadaveric dissections and was a Teaching Assistant for UofL's Dental School Advanced Head and Neck Anatomy Course. Her research experience began within the Department of Pharmacology at the University of Kentucky and has since continued at the University of Louisville Department of Otolaryngology-HNS & Communicative Disorders. Her current interests include sleep medicine, bioengineering, and head and neck cancer outcomes.
