Dr. Pa-Chun Wang is currently the chief executive officer of the Joint Commission of Taiwan (JCT), and a full professor at the Fu Jen Catholic University School of Medicine, Taipei, Taiwan. Dr. Wang holds MD degree from the China Medical University, Master of Science degree in Health Policy and Management from the Harvard School of Public Health, and EMBA from the National Taiwan University. He finished his otolaryngology fellowship at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Wang is the President of Asian Society for Quality in Health Care (ASQua). He serves as board directors in several professional organizations, including International Society of Quality in Healthcare (IsQua), IsQua External Evaluation Association (IEEA), Taiwan Society of Simulation in Healthcare (TSSH), and Taiwan Healthcare Quality Asscoaition (THQA); active member of the National Association of Healthcare Quality (NAHQ, USA), International Otopathology (Schuknecht) Society, Collegium Oto-Rhino-Laryngologicum Amicitiae Sacrum (CORLAS), and AAO-HNS Foundation OREBM Committee. Dr.Wang has more than 350 peer-reviewed articles published in leading scientific journals covering focused areas on: otolaryngology outcomes research, healthcare quality, medical education, and patient safety. Dr. Wang is the fellow of ISQua International Academy of Quality & Safety (IAQS) since 2021. Dr.Wang is the recepient of 2023 Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS) International Medal in honor of his career achievement in healthcare quality improvement.
