PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Bone anchored implantation is an important part of the treatment armamentarium for patients with conductive hearing losses. In recent years, there have been new devices that are transcutaneous without visible abutments. Because they are infrequently used, many providers may not be familiar with them, leading to their underutilization. One such device is the Med El Bonebridge BCI 602. This video is a step-by-step guide for placement of this device. Viewers will appreciate how it functions and how to place it.
