PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Improving efficiency is a great skill to achieve more useable time in your day. Making small changes can improve workflow and diminish stress allowing for more personal satisfaction and enjoyment. This session will provide a variety of strategies to help manage the many daily tasks encountered in practice and at home. We will talk about methods to address unavoidable time conflicts and options for creating a manageable personal and professional schedule. The purpose of this lectures is to help with stress reduction by diminishing time conflicts and creating opportunities for more free time.
OUTCOME OBJECTIVE 1: Discuss strategies that will improve time efficiency at work and at home
OUTCOME OBJECTIVE 2: Implement small changes that can lead to fewer stressful time crunches
OUTCOME OBJECTIVE 3: Recognize ways to prevent avoidable conflicts and creative options to deal with unavoidable conflicts
BACKGROUND STATEMENT: We gave this lecture last year for the first time and although it was weds AM and the app had the wrong room, we received good feedback from those who attended. Providing strategies for physician well being and management of home and work is always a topic of interest to every Otolaryngologist.
